The lodging has all the comforts and conveniences... read more you would expect in today's top quality lodging, but with a Montana feel. On top of that, Larry and Trish make you feel like friends and family. Larry's cooked to order breakfasts are worth the trip. Have been staying with them for several years, and we would not stay anywhere else in Red Lodge or the surrounding area.

It was nice to not have to worry if they would step in dog poop as this is not pet friendly which was great for us. Check in with Trish was great, she greeted me with a warm smile, answered what seemed like 15 questions and directed me to a few places to eat as I always worry about kid friendly places. Tricia and Larry do a fantastic job at keeping the place clean, I witnessed both of them picking up small pieces of garbage. We had a nice visit with both of them, and applauded them for having such a gem in a neat town. The breakfast was amazing, served today order and hot on your plate. Way better then the continental breakfast we are used to at the chain hotels we usually stay at. The employees we encountered were always smiling, saying hello and seemed to enjoy being there. Says alot about the owners! We look forward to another staycation!

And the Alpine Lodge made it even more welcoming.... read more We booked a cabin (the original tiny-house) our first night. Spotless, cozy, great bedding, no issues whatsoever. A pair of juvenile bears got into the motel's recycling bin overnight, causing a ruckus, but we slept so soundly, we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and we decided to stay another night, so they moved us into the motel rooms, which were even nicer. This was the perfect stopping place after a few days at Yellowstone. clean and included a kitchenette area with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfy and the linens were soft and cozy. And the price was incredible especially since it included a made to order breakfast each morning cooked to perfection! We’re thinking about staying in one of their teepees on our return trip!

  We stopped here while on a 10 day motorcycle trip and this place was perfect for our group. Trish and Larry were fantastic hosts and the lodge had everything right... read more there with plenty of things to do. Yard games, firepit, dinner, breakfast, laundry. and even a bike wash station!
We all opted to stay at the lodge and eat instead of going back out. Although we overwhelmed Larry with orders we were all patient and the food was great! His homemade pizza are delish!
And for breakfast the next morning, once again Chef Larry took care of all of us. The portions were large, very tasty and there were no complaints.
Our group wished we could have stayed here longer.
If ever in Red Lodge, The Alpine Lodge is a must stop, you won't be disappointed.

We absolutely love the outdoor breakfast area where you can relax, enjoy the fresh air and visit with other guests, while enjoying a tasty breakfast, made to order, which comes at no additional cost.
