A group (15 bikes) of us on motorcycles while touring out west stayed at Alpine Lodge in June. The cabins, grounds, and everything was beautiful. The owner (Larry) went... read more out of his way accommodating us. He offered to keep the kitchen open late and call in extra help upon our arrival in order to provide us all with dinner and made to order breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this Lodge. It was most definitely my favorite among the all the places we stayed in.

Treats all his guests like family. This was not the first time there. This is the motel a lot of the car show people like to stay at every year. It's safe and secure. And we'll be back to stay every year.

After coming over the Beartooth Pass, (a bit of a white-knuckle drive), the town of Red Lodge was a welcome sight. And the Alpine Lodge made it even more welcoming.... read more We booked a cabin (the original tiny-house) our first night. Spotless, cozy, great bedding, no issues whatsoever. A pair of juvenile bears got into the motel's recycling bin overnight, causing a ruckus, but we slept so soundly, we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and we decided to stay another night, so they moved us into the motel rooms, which were even nicer. This was the perfect stopping place after a few days at Yellowstone. Montana hospitality at its finest! More

The room was... read more extremely hot and you can’t turn on the air. The water pressure in the shower is horrible. Lots of overhead noise. We would probably pass next time.

Upon... read more arrival everyone was friendly and had new restaurant recommendations as things have changed in town in 3 years, but as always, Red Lodge gets better not worse. The breakfast at Alpine Lodge is second to none, the cook is out in the open and amiable as can be. This place needs a 6 rating. 5 doesn't do it or the staff justice!

The bed... read more was perfect and very comfortable. The decor was totally Montana. Saddle on one wall... Chaps and a lasso on the other. Home cooked breakfast in the morning makes it even better. Don't miss this one.
